Glen Grant 27 Years Old 1995 INK4 S.V. 70cl 50.1°
This edition of the Glen Grant 27 years old is part of our INK #4 series selected by our experts and Signatory Vintage exclusively at Le Comptoir Irlandais.
The Rothes distillery, which produces Glen Grant whisky, was founded in the early 19th century in the heart of Speyside. The beginning of its history is marked by the personality of James Grant, alias “the Major”. An innovator, he made Glen Grant the first distillery to install electric lighting. He also created slender stills and purifiers, which are still the hallmark of the distillery today, with freshly malted clear whisky and a light, floral and fruity style, accessible to all.
This whisky was distilled in 1995 and aged 27 years in Bourbon barrels. At the peak of its maturity, it has a herbaceous, malty and honeyed character.
Cask strength, without colouring.
