Founded in 1821, Linkwood began producing its whisky from 1825. The distillery is located in Elgin in the Moray region of Speyside in Scotland. It participated in the development of many blends including the "Johnnie Walker" before being put on hold between 1985 and 1990. It has only one official bottling to its credit (12 years Flora & Fauna) and a few versions offered by independent bottlers, including this beautiful bottling for the Comptoir Irlandais!
Distilled in 2013, aged 8 years, it was finished in 2nd fill sherry casks. Non chill-filtered, natural colour.
