Cardhu Amber Rock is an elegant and fragrant Single Malt.
Its name, inspired by the warm gold colour of its liquid, evokes the precious amber stone.
It is the result of a first maturation in bourbon and sherry barrels and then a second maturation in especially selected toasted oak barrels, which give it round and sweet aromas of bourbon with rich notes of vanilla and spices.

The Cardhu distillery has been founded by smuggler John Cumming, in 1824, in Speyside, Scotland.
The whisky produced by the distillery is the main ingredient of the famous Johnie Walker blend. The unique character of Cardhu ranks the distillery in the Classic Malts Selection. Standing on the wind-whipped heather fields that surround the Cardhu distillery today, the verdant lilac grounds belie the truth of Cardhu’s origin name, ‘the black rock’, Carn Dubh. From this splendoured hill, the Cardhu distillery grew with unmistakable allure. From its iconic red door, the distillery welcomed passers-by for centuries, inviting them with a vibrant whisky, crisp with the sweet taste of Scottish orchards.
