A meticulous selection of barrels from the first distillery in Taiwan, mainly barrels that have contained Bourbon, is operated by the master blender Ian Chang.
This second expression is sweet with a beautiful aromatic depth on complex floral and herbaceous notes.

Kavalan's distillery, located in the northeast of Taiwan's island in Yi-Lan's province was given this name in tribute to a tribe that resided in this area. Established thanks to King-Car's group, this distillery produces special whiskies by calling the best experts of this industry.
The success of this distillery comes from the quality of sherry barrels that rare on the market. It uses firsts quality barrels: brandy, porto, xeres, wines, bourbon.
The Single Cask Kavalan has quiclky stood out and won a lot of awards. In 2016, The IWC designated Kavalan as "Whisky Producer of the Year" and in 2017 "Distillery of the year".
