Launched in 2016, the 18-year-old Single Malt Tullamore Dew is a whiskey with a rich character, a blend of caramelised fruit, oak and baked apple.
This edition of the Single Malt Tullamore Dew launched in 2016, has enjoyed a maturation of 18 years. This expression results from an assembly of Irish whiskeys produced in triple distillation. It has patiently aged in Bourbon barrels for 18 years, then it was refined in 4 different types of casks: Oloroso Sherry, Sherry Butts, Port wine casks and Madeira wine drums for 6 months.
The result is impressive with a blend of caramelised fruit, oak and baked apple giving this Single Malt a rich and warm finish.
Tullamore Dew 18 years old can be found exclusively at Le Comptoir Irlandais.
The Single Malt was named Best Whiskey in the world in 2018 at the International Wine & Spirit Competition.
