This whisky was awarded the Silver Medal in the Best Japanese Whisky category at the World Whiskies Awards 2019.

This Yoichi Single Malt is a blend of whiskies of various ages, marrying smokey, floral and fruity flavours. As a flagship of the historical Nikka Single Malt, this whisky has been produced in the traditional way, including stills heated on a naked charcoal fire. This malt has an authentic taste developing a surprising balance of marine and peated notes.

Yoichi is located on Hokkaido, the most Northern Island of Japan.
