High Coast Aurora is a Swedish single malt produced by High Coast Distillery on the banks of the Ångerman River in northern Sweden. Part of the permanent Origins range, it showcases the distillery's elegant style. It is crafted from a combination of lightly peated and unpeated whiskies matured in bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Bottled at 46% ABV without chill filtration or added colouring, it highlights the purity and precision of Scandinavian whisky.
The nose offers aromas of pear, vanilla, cherry, milk chocolate and dried fruit with a subtle hint of smoke. The palate is smooth and balanced with flavours of apple, raisins, honey, caramel, oak and gentle spices. A delicate peat influence adds freshness without overpowering the whisky. The finish is long, elegant and lightly smoky with lingering fruit, vanilla and toasted oak.

Appearance
