Whisky from around the world

We often tend to think that whisky only comes from Scotland, Ireland, the United States and Japan. But all that has changed. Many countries have also started to produce whisky using different methods and cultures. Now you can find whisky all over the world: Taiwan, Montreal, South Korea, France, Finland, England, India, Wales, etc. 

Penderyn

Opened in 2000, Penderyn is the first Welsh distillery to produce whisky for a hundred years. The last producer of this spirit closed its doors in 1903. The spirit produced in Wales is called Welsh Whisky.

Nantou

Founded in 1978, the Nantou distillery is located in the mountains, at an altitude of 3,000 metres. Water is drawn from the surrounding lakes and rivers. The subtropical climate is humid and warm, and the winters are dry, giving an average temperature of almost 20°C and enabling the whisky to mature more quickly.

Montreal Distillery

In 2013, the Montreal Distillery was created in the heart of Quebec. Since its creation, the distillery has been committed to offering products that combine expertise and innovation, through carefully selected ingredients and very specific distillation techniques.

Kyrö

The origins of the Kyrö distillery go back to a sauna session when a group of friends were sipping rye whisky and wondered why Finland lacked rye whisky production. The idea of setting up their own distillery persisted the next day, marking the start of Kyrö's journey.

Cotswolds

When New York-born Daniel Szor decided to make a radical change in his life, he left the world of finance to combine his passion for whisky and his desire for enterprise in the heart of the Cotswolds in England.

Amrut

The history of the Amrut distillery is as old as the history of independent India itself. After six decades of remarkable progress, just like India, Amrut Distillery has grown and is now recognised as a world economic leader in the country.

Armorik

The Warenghem distillery has been perpetuating its traditional know-how for over 100 years in Lannion, Brittany, producing spirits including Armorik Breton whisky. A pioneer among malt distilleries in France, producing French whisky from 1983, the distillery innovated and launched its Armorik Single Malt in 1987.
