Taiwanese Single Malt distilled in Scottish (Forsyth) and Belgian copper pot stills.

This is the peaty version of Yushan Signature Bourbon Cask.

This "smoky" version allows the Nantou distillery to expand its Yushan Signature range with a peaty edition.

Whisky neither coloured nor chill-filtered.

Aromatic profile: fruity and smoky.

Founded in 1978, the Nantou distillery is located in the mountains at 3,000 meters ofaltitude.

The water is drawn from the surrounding lakes and rivers. The subtropical climate is humid and warm and the winters dry, which offers an average temperature of nearly 20 °C allowing a faster ripening of the whiskey.

Nose: smooth and balanced with notes of citrus and flowers.

Palate: intense with hints of caramelised and smoked cane sugar.

Finish: long with ashy notes.
