Big Peat Miniature 5cl 46°

Country : Scotland / Reference: : 22917

Big Peat literally translated as "intense peat". This Scottish Blended Malt is made exclusively from a rigorous selection of character malts from the island of Islay including: Bowmore, Caol Ila, Ardbeg, the very rare Port Ellen (distillery closed in 1983) and two other malts from the south of the island, of which Douglas Laing keeps the secret. The result turns out to be extremely peaty and complex with smoky and oceanic scents.

5cl miniature bottle.

From our long-held stocks, we hand select the finest, and often rarest, Scotch Whisky casks from across all of Scotland’s Whisky regions and bottle them as the distiller intended; at high alcohol strength, and without colouring or chill-filtration. By adding nothing and taking nothing away, we offer the consumer an experience close to sampling Whisky straight from the cask in the depths of a cold, dank distillery warehouse.

Colour: golden.

Nose:  liquorice, with notes of exctint chimney fire and ashes.

Palate: a profusion of peat, with a Eucalyptus and menthol overlay.

Finish: lingering and smoky with an herbal touch.
