The new INK#5 collection exclusively at le Comptoir Irlandais
The new INK#5 collection by Le Comptoir Irlandais
This series is the first selection of several casks from renowned bottler Douglas Laing by le Comptoir Irlandais. Douglas Laing, an independent whisky bottler, was founded in 1948 by Fred Laing Senior and is based in Glasgow. Douglas Laing is a leading specialist in whisky selection and bottling. An experienced, historic bottler and a mythical whisky family, Douglas Laing establishes a strong bond with its distilleries, and the casks it selects represent the very essence of those distilleries.
INK#5 brings together 4 exceptional Scottish Single Malts bottled in 2023: Favorite Island 8 years old, Glengoyne 10 years old, Inchgower 10 years old and Tamdhu 9 years old. This new collection is part of our drive to discover and explore new horizons. These casks are unique and exceptional. The special feature of this selection is aging in second-fill bourbon casks, softening the effect of the wood and allowing the distillate to express itself fully.
The visual identity of the series refers to the discovery of new perspectives, possibilities and richness.
Simply put, it's a selection that's easy to indulge in.
We invite you to discover this new collection #5 through the tasting notes of our experts.
