Harris Tweed jackets are stamped with the Orb Mark (logo) which guarantees the origin of the virgin wool. It was dyed, spun and woven by hand on Lewis Island in the Western Isles (Scotland), preserving a tradition that began in the late 18th century. This thick and warm Scottish fabric has been designed by the inhabitants of these islands to protect themselves from harsh climates. Tweed has become famous and trendy since Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert wore one in 1848.
The woven fabric is made in Scotland. Brook Tavern stands out with its strict lines and sober colours.
