Beef piece with beer and mustard

To impress your guests at your next dinner, prepare beef with beer and mustard. This dish is delicious and easy to make!
Shopping list for 2 people:
At Le Comptoir Irlandais:
- 20 cl of stout Guinness beer
- 2 table spoons of Colman's mustard
And also:
- 2 pieces of beef
- 20 cl of whole liquid cream
- salt and pepper
- 1 onion
- oil or butter
Steps:
1 / Peel and finely chop the onion and brown the pieces.
2 / Take the 2 pieces of beef separately in a frying pan with butter or oil over high heat, about 45 seconds on each side for rare meat, then remove from heat.
3 / Add the beer, then the cream and bring to a boil. Reduce the sauce by half.
4 / Out of the heat, add the mustard and the golden onions, then mix well to bind the sauce.
5 / Season with salt and pepper and cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
6 / Serve the 2 pieces of beef on flat plates and drizzle with sauce.

Info: the cooking of the residual sugars contained in the beer brings a note of caramel to the flavour of the meat.
