- 1,8 kg of sugar

- a knob of butter

Steps:

Marmelade Orange

1) Pour the contents into a 4.5-liter saucepan, adding 425ml of water using the measuring mark located on the side of the can.

2) Add 1.8 kg of sugar (or more or less depending on your preference). Boil while stirring continuously (with a wooden spoon).

3) Lower the heat and boil for another 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a knob of butter during boiling to disperse the foam.

4) Test: remove from heat, add 1/2 teaspoon of marmalade in a saucer and place in a cool place. After two minutes, press on the surface. If it creases, you have reached the expected result, otherwise, boil again for a few minutes.

Do the test a second time.

5) Let stand for 2-3 minutes before pouring into the jars. If the barks remain on the surface, stir the contents of each pot.

6) Cover each pot (with a screw cap, parchment paper or plastic film).
