XO Bache Gabrielsen 70cl 40°
This Cognac XO from the house Bache Gabrielsen is composed of crus of Grande Champagne and Petite Champagne.
Aged in Limousin oak barrels from 10 to 30 years, much longer than a classic XO, this expression is very floral and fruity in a nice balance with notes of vanilla, cinnamon, dried fruits, pepper and chocolate.
The Bache Gabrielsen Cognac house, with a hundred-year-old heritage, maintains the passion and traditions to produce cognacs that combine Norwegian origins and French know-how.
It was in 1903 that Thomas Bache-Grabrielsen, then a young Norwegian lieutenant, moved to Cognac in order to perfect his French as well as his knowledge of Cognac.
2 years later, he bought the Cognac house A. Edmond Dupuy and founded his own Bache-Grabrielsen house, which has seen 4 generations succeed at its head.
This heritage, transmitted from father to son for more than 100 years now, mixes Scandinavian roots and French know-how through products with strong values of innovation, tradition and above all, passion.
