In 2020, Ardbeg announces a new bottling named "Blaaack" to celebrate the 20 years of the Ardbeg Committee. A whisky aged in Pinot Noir barrels from New Zealand, sheep country, with rich notes that should develop on fruity pudding and bitter cherry, without forgetting the touch of smoked peat typical of the Ardbeg house.
Dr Bill Lumsden, head of whisky creation at Ardbeg said: "This is a perfectly toasted bottling to honor our legendary Committee."
