Ardbeg Blaaack 70cl 46° - Limited Edition 2020

A traditional meeting place for peat lovers, the Ardbeg day of the famous Islay distillery is also an opportunity to unveil a new experimental edition.

In 2020, Ardbeg announces a new bottling named "Blaaack" to celebrate the 20 years of the Ardbeg Committee. A whisky aged for the first time for Ardbeg, in Pinot Noir barrels from New Zealand, the sheep country, with rich notes that should develop on fruity pudding and bitter cherry with aromas of cedar wood, tannins from oak barrels, rich aromas of truffle, without forgetting the touch of smoky peat typical of the Ardbeg house.

Dr Bill Lumsden, Malt Master whisky at Ardbeg distillery said: "This is a perfectly toasted dram to honor our legendary Committee."

A very promising new edition! This whisky is bottled in opaque black glass, another innovation for Ardbeg.
