The trend of flavoured beers
It is hops, one of the main ingredients of beer, which is used to give its aroma and bitterness to beer.
But in recent years, there has been an increasing number of flavoured beers, a growing trend that appeared at the same time as the phenomenon of microbreweries and which is attracting more and more people!
How do you make a flavoured beer?
To create a flavoured beer, the selected flavours are added with hops at the time of brewing, just before fermentation.
It is therefore possible to obtain a flavoured beer of any type, whether it is blonde, brown, amber and with all kinds of aromas: those with fruits are the most widespread, but we find also spices, especially at Christmas time, plants, alcohols or any other flavour (chocolate, honey, etc.).
