The best cellar master in the world is from Martinique

The cellar master of the La Mauny and Trois-Rivières houses, Daniel Baudin has been awarded the prestigious title of best cellar master in the world. This title was awarded on September 26, 2019 in Miami at the International Rum Conference.
With over 30 years of experience in the rum world, this is the first personal award received by Daniel Baudin. On the other hand, his work has already been the subject of several awards. Indeed, at the International Wine and Spirit Competition, the old rum VSOP Trois Rivières received the Rum Trophy of the year 2018. The Ratafia cuvée from the La Mauny house received the Parm innovation award in 2019.
