The unmissable cheesecake recipe
Who said tea time had to be exclusively English cakes? The cheesecake is of Greek origin, it was subsequently known in England before becoming a staple in New York. This famous cake will easily find its place on the table during your next tea break.
Ingredients:
- 75g of butter
- 235ml of milk
- garnish of your choice
Dough preparation:
1) Spread baking paper on the bottom of the mold.
2) Melt 75g of butter then mix it with the crushed shortbread cookies.
3) Spread this mixture with the back of a spoon on the bottom of the prepared pan.
4) Refrigerate for 15 minutes for the mixture to harden.
Garnish preparation:
1) With an electric mixer, whip the cheesecake mixture with the milk until you obtain a thick and smooth cream (about 3min).
2) Pour this mixture over the cold dough mixture then spread it with the back of a spoon.
3) Put in the refrigerator for 45 minutes. Unmould and serve.
You can add a garnish of fresh fruit and a pinch of sugar to your cake, or dark chocolate chips and a light coating of cocoa powder.
