Camus Île de Ré 70cl 40°
Reference: 24339
Maison Camus presents a Cognac with iodized notes bottled at 40°. It has aged in a humid cellar which gives it a nice roundness.
Maison Camus Cognac Île de Ré has been distilled on the lees in order to reinforce the original flavours of the eaux-de-vie from which it comes and then underwent a unique aging.
First, it aged on the Île de Ré in a very humid cellar, which gave it a nice roundness. In addition, the barrels used have been slightly heated to add a delicate woody touch.
Located in the westernmost region of the Cognac labelled territory, the Island presents a particularity due to its climate. Indeed, the grapes harvested are more iodized than on the mainland, plus the mild climate of the island gives a specific character to the eaux-de-vie produced.
