Le Comptoir Irlandais continues to expand with the opening of its 55th store in Valenciennes
We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Le Comptoir Irlandais store in the heart of Valenciennes, at 20 Rue du Quesnoy (59300). We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 10 a.m. to celebrate this grand opening together!
In Valenciennes, we wanted to create a space true to our identity: a warm, welcoming, and exotic atmosphere inspired by Irish traditions and the British Isles. More than just a store, we’re offering you a true invitation to travel.
An immersion in the Irish way of life
Blending tradition and modernity, our new location immerses you in a world where quality and authenticity are at the heart of every product. Here you’ll find all the must-haves that define the soul of Le Comptoir Irlandais.
Delicacies and flavors
We’ve selected the finest specialties for you: Folláin artisanal jams, the classic Campbells shortbreads, and a wide selection of over 150 teas and rooibos, including Barry’s Tea and Whittard of Chelsea.
Fashion and crafts
We also showcase timeless and authentic pieces: Aran Woollen Mills sweaters, Avoca wool throws, and London Tradition duffle coats. Our exclusive Out Of Ireland brand rounds out this selection with unique creations made from natural materials.
Whiskies and spirits
As a true leader in this field, we offer nearly 1,800 varieties of whiskey, with a special focus on Irish brands such as Teeling and Bushmills, as well as iconic Scottish distilleries like Ardbeg and Balvenie.
We round out this selection with a range of rums, gins, and craft beers from around the world, offering a truly sensory experience.
A Strong Local Commitment
With this opening, we are reaffirming our commitment to strengthening our presence in the Hauts-de-France region and providing an increasingly immersive experience for both local and visiting customers.
“The opening of this store in Valenciennes marks an important milestone in our development. We want to offer our customers much more than just a retail space: a true journey into the heart of Irish and British cultures, where every product tells a story and reflects authentic craftsmanship,” says François-Pierre Loizeau, Sales and Store Operations Director at Le Comptoir Irlandais.
We remind you that the official opening will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, starting at 10 a.m., and we look forward to welcoming you there.
