Clarendon Rum Sponge 15 Years Old 2007 70cl 63°

This collection is a realization of Angus MacRaild in connection with his blog dedicated to the tasting of Whisky Sponge spirits.

The sponge is a recurring character present on the labels and comes in Cognac Sponge, Armagnac Sponge or Rum Sponge.

This fifteen-year-old bottling comes from the Jamaican distillery Monymusk. A rum resulting from a double distillation in pot stills, which shows an incredible freshness of expression. The character is revealed by the second fill Bourbon cask in which it aged.
