Torabhaig Sound of Sleat 70 cl 46 ° is a single malt whisky from Scotland’s Isle of Skye, rich in character and emotion. Its signature: delicately peated malt (78 PPM+) intertwined with elegant, ashy smoke. Aged for 5 to 6 years in a selection of American oak casks—new oak, ex-bourbon, and refill—this dram presents a layered complexity. On the nose, gentle orange, apricot, sweet popcorn, maritime seaweed, and a hint of pipe tobacco are softened by honey and vanilla. On the palate, bonfire smoke blends with wood spices, honey, sea salt, and peppery notes. The finish is long and graceful, conjuring a sunset over tumultuous seas. A vivid, refined experience ideal for those seeking a spirit that is both wild and polished.

The Torabhaig distillery, established on the Isle of Skye in Scotland in 2017, is one of the country's newest distilleries. It is the second to set up on the island, after the renowned Talisker. Torabhaig has earned a reputation for peated whiskies that reflect the wild and authentic spirit of Skye.
Founded in a 19th-century farmhouse carefully restored to preserve its historic character, the distillery has been adapted to house modern production equipment.
The distillery produces intense peated whiskies, with high phenol levels, typically between 30 and 40 ppm, creating distinctive smoky aromas.
A longer-than-average fermentation time allows for more complex, nuanced flavors.
Water from the natural springs surrounding the distillery, including the Allt Gleann, contributes to the purity of the whisky.
Torabhaig is committed to offering non-chill-filtered whiskies, guaranteeing superior quality and preserved aromatic richness.
Torabhaig has inaugurated “The Legacy Series” to celebrate its launch and offer limited editions, each marking a phase in the evolution of their distinctive style. The first launch, Torabhaig 2017, was well received, closely followed by Allt Gleann. Although these whiskies are relatively young, they are already showing promising potential, with the expectation that Torabhaig will enrich its range with older single malts over time.
