Loch Lomond 21 Years Old 70cl 46°
An exceptional Single Malt, the result of the blend of three Single Malts from the Loch Lomond distillery: a heavily peated (50 PPM), a classic peaty (25 PPM) and a non-peated one.
The whole is slightly peaty with a level of 30 PPM and develops sweet notes of vanilla accompanied by a woody and spicy aromatic range.
The whisky aged in first and second fill American oak barrels.
It is uncoloured and unfiltered.
*PPM - phenols parts per million, measuring the influence of the oily smoke peat infusing the germinated barley during the drying process. The longer the exposure, the highest the ppm value is. A well peated Islay whisky reaches a 40-50 ppm. But every whisky still develops its very own character and mouthfeel sensation, depending on the style of each distillery.

Founded in 1965 in an old dyeing facility, Loch Lomond took over the name of its predecessor located on the other side of the Loch, in Arrochar, and which closed in 1817. As the Loch Lomond distillery closed in 1984, it could only reopen in 1985 as the Bulloch family bought it back to deal with shortages in their Glen Catrine company.
The distillery has the specificity, unique to Scotland, to produce malt whisky and grain whisky on the same site.
