Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured 70cl 50°
After the success of the 2020 edition, Kilchoman unveils its new bottling aged at least 5 years in Fino Sherry casks, a breath of fresh air for the distillery which usually uses Sherry Oloroso casks for the ageing of its whiskies.
The 20 Fino Sherry Butts used to mature it have been carefully selected by the Kilchoman team at Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin in Spain for their unparalleled quality. The result is a whisky with mineral, fruity and slightly smoky influences that balance each other perfectly.

First distillery built on Islay, 125 years ago, Kilchoman has been built as a “farm-distillery” and grows its own barley.
About 100 tons are harvested and malted at the distillery, 30% of the distillery’s needs. The rest is supplied by the Port Ellen malt-house. It is also part of the 6 last distilleries operating with traditional malting processes. In 2009, Kilchoman crafted its first recognized Single Malt. Kilchoman is one of the smallest distilleries of Scotland with an annual production of about 100.000 liters.
