Apple crumble
The apple crumble recipe is very easy to make. With pure butter Scottish shortbread, prepare a delicious and gourmet dessert!
Shopping list for 4 people: 
- 100g of shortbread
- 2 pinches of cinnamon
- 4 apples
- 10g + 50g of butter
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
Steps:
1/ Peel the apples, remove the hearts and cut into quarters.
2/ In a pan, put 10g butter and fry the apples. Let them melt for about 10 minutes. Add the brown sugar and let the apples caramelize.
3/ Meanwhile in a bowl, crush the Border Ginger Biscuits and add the softened butter. Mix with fingers until a rough dough.
4/ Spread the apples in individual ramekins or a large dish and place the crumble dough on it.
5/ Bake at 200° (thermostat 6/7) for 35 minutes.
6/ Serve warm with vanilla flavoured custard. You can use our Custard powder and simply add sugar and milk.
