Taking advantage of the dual expertise of Maison Isautier, Agent Double 01 is a rum combining agricultural rum (65%) and traditional molasses rum (35%).
This unique blend offers the roundness and typicality of agricultural rum as well as the power and freshness of molasses rum. The two batches of traditional rum and agricultural rum were distilled in 2021 and selected as column crude, respectively, at high degree 89% and 71.1%. Before being gently reduced under the tropical climate of Reunion to obtain an ideal degree of tasting at 55% vol.
On the nose, Agent Double 01 offers fresh and fruity notes. On the palate, its power is revealed with elegance and subtlety.
This rum is to be enjoyed on ice or in a cocktail to appreciate all its flavours.
