The holidays are the perfect time to surprise your guests with refined, warming, or sparkling cocktails. Here’s a selection of easy-to-make recipes at home, with spirits and ingredients available at Le Comptoir Irlandais.
1️⃣ Irish Coffee — Cozy Classic
Description: Classic Irish cocktail made with whiskey and coffee, perfect for warming winter evenings.
Recipe (1 serving):
- 4 cl Irish whiskey
- 1 cup hot coffee
- 1–2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 cl lightly whipped cream
Instructions:
- Warm the glass with hot water and discard the water.
- Add sugar and hot coffee, then add the whiskey.
- Carefully float the whipped cream on top using the back of a spoon.
- Enjoy without stirring.

2️⃣ Hot Whiskey — Spiced Warm Drink
Description: Hot cocktail without coffee, ideal for those who prefer the pure taste of whiskey with spices and lemon.
Recipe (1 serving):
- 4 cl Irish whiskey
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 slice of lemon
- A pinch of cinnamon or cloves
- 10 cl hot water
Instructions:
- Dissolve sugar in hot water in a heatproof glass.
- Add whiskey and spices.
- Squeeze the lemon slice slightly and leave it in the glass.
- Stir gently and serve hot.

Recipe (1 serving):
- 2 cl Irish whiskey

- Sparkling wine (champagne or prosecco)
Instructions:
- Pour whiskey and liqueur into a champagne flute.
