The Carr’s story began during the British industrial revolution, when Jonathan Carr first opened a bakery in England in 1831.

The small business prospered and became so popular that 10 years only after its creation, Jonathan Carr received a Royal Warrant granted by Queen Victoria, recognizing his quality of supplier of the royal family and making Carr’s the first biscuit maker to receive the accolade.
