After the success of the Lyonnaise breweries of the same name, Ninkasi launched into the making of whisky in 2015 following its establishment in 2012 in Tarare (Rhône, France). In addition to beers, Ninkasi now produces its own, whiskies, vodka (based on organic wheat), brandies and sodas.
