La Mine d’Or is the result of a passion for quality products. With this in mind, Stéphane Kerdodé launched his family distillery in 2016 with strict rules of artisanal production and it was in Ploërmel, in the heart of the Brocéliande forest, in Brittany, that he decided to settle.
The production of spirits is top-of-the-range with equipment that is both traditional and equipped with the latest technologies, allowing the know-how of the master distillers to express itself in the best conditions.
After Seizh gin and Speakeasy liqueurs, the distillery produces its first range of whiskeys, inspired by the legends of King Arthur: Galaad. A tribute to the young knight of the round table, son of Lancelot, who completed the quest for the Holy Grail accompanied by Perceval.
This attachment to local legends goes hand in hand with the production of La Mine d'Or: from waste management to the search for raw materials, the distillery favors French sources and participates in reforestation in Brittany.
