Launched in 2020 at the initiative of Mark Reynier, the Renegade rum distillery is a haven of modernity. Located on the island of Grenada, it celebrates the richness and uniqueness of the terroirs.
After 10 long years in search of the place and the ideal conditions, it is on the island of Grenada in the West Indies that Marc Reynier is setting up the Renegade distillery in 2020.
Building on his experience and his success at the head of the Waterford distillery in Ireland, Marc Reynier once again highlights the richness of the terroir this time through a range of Single Farm Origin rums.
Freshly opened, this distillery is a true technological showcase among the greenery of the island, at the cutting edge of innovation, with Pot Still stills and a column for perfect control of the redesigned distillation and prolonged fermentation processes at temperature controlled.
With its mountainous terrain, steep volcanic rich soil and microclimate, the island of Granada is suitable for the cultivation of sugar cane. This diversity allows the distillery to bring out the unique flavours of each farm and each cane plantation.
