Patrón Tequila

Patrón tequila is produced with Weber Blue agaves, harvested every eight years to give the plant time to grow and soak up the sugar.
After being chopped by hand, the heart of the plant, the piña, is baked in small brick ovens before being ground by a two-ton Tahona volcanic stone wheel and roller mill.
The resulting mixture is fermented for three days, distilled and, in some cases, aged in handmade barrels. A minimum of two months for Patrón Reposado and up to ten years for Extra Añejo 10 Años, Hacienda Patrón's oldest tequila.
Patrón is also committed to a virtuous system: from the environmentally friendly reverse osmosis irrigation system, to the agave by-product that is recycled, to the people involved in manufacturing - 60 hands from start to finish.
