The Elements of Islay range was created in the late 2000s by Specialty Drinks, a British trading house.
Elements of Islay offers only unique bottlings and limited quantities, without reduction or cold filtering, of distillates from different distilleries on the island of Islay.
The label of the bottles in the range is inspired by the periodic table of the elements, using the two acronym letters of each distillery followed by a batch number.
