Michter’s Original Sour Mash is named after its production process, which wants a previously fermented mach to be used as a base for a new fermented mach in order to produce the alcohol of the future whiskey.

This whiskey, aged in toasted white American oak barrels, is made from a blend of barley, rye and malt.

Its unique aromatic palette, focused on toasted wood, vanilla and fruit, allows it to obtain the distinction of best whiskey of the year in 2019, making this bottling the most popular product of the American distillery.
