Spencer Prince Charlie Black
The spencer is a short crossed-jacket, to be worn with the kilt and sporran. This jacket used to be very trendy in the 19th century in France. The name spencer comes from Lord Spencer, that would have forgotten his jacket to close to the fire pit, making a short jacket at the waist. It is wornon top of a black vest and a white shirt.
The spencer jacket closes up with three buttons, each sleeve has three buttons, all square, just like the vest (delivered with the spencer). Perfect for a traditional wedding event, a wisp of white heather is pinned on the left side of the jacket as a lucky charm. Before, the psencer used to be made with the tartan's clan, to match the kilt.
