Hudson whiskey
Hudson whiskey was created by a group of friends in New York who were passionate about whiskey. They travelled all over the United States and to every possible distillery in order to gain experience and know-how. The brand was launched in 2001, the fruit of long research and experimentation. Hudson whiskey emphasises the artisanal quality of its products and the use of the small batch method. Production is on a small scale.
A regional whiskey
It creates a partnership with local producers and takes care to reduce their ecological footprint as much as possible. By creating a local whiskey, Hudson Whiskey has won numerous awards, including being named ‘Best Artisan Distiller’ in 2010 by the American Distilling Institute.
A bourbon with style
Hudson whiskey is nicknamed ‘baby bourbon’ because of its distillate, which has a shorter maturation time than traditional bourbon. On tasting, you'll find a blend of woody and smoky notes, balanced by vanilla and caramel.
The resurrection of Rye whiskey
Hudson Whiskey has resurrected Rye whiskey by producing a quality rye. The rye is grown on the distillery's premises, always with an eye to the environment and short supply chains. The result is a high-quality spirit with notes of honey and coconut, yet rustic and spicy.
