Bale Bro 70cl 46°

Distillery : FDC distillery / Country : France / Reference: : 25811

Bale Bro whisky is made from Breton and French cereals (corn) from organic farming, distilled in a 300 liter Scottish copper pot still (Forsyths) then aged in French, American, new or red oak barrels (having already been used).

Its name, Bale Bro, which means "to run the country" in Breton, is a nod to the two great travellers who are the Breton Bertrand Jestin and his Chilean friend Waldo Brown, founders of the young Breton artisanal distillery FDC, created in September 2019.

Colour: golden yellow with golden highlights.

Nose: cereals, vanilla, slightly milk caramel, pastry (brioche, cake). The second nose is woody, delicate, well blended.

Palate: the attack is supple, presenting a good creaminess provided by the corn. Then the amount is enough to velvety coat the palate and reveal the generous side of vanilla, pastry and milk caramel notes underlined or held by a silky woodiness.

Finish: long enough to appreciate good aromatic complexity in balance and harmony.
