Connacht Whiskey Distillery was founded in 2016 in Ballina, on the Wild Atlantic Way in County Mayo. Located on the west coast of Ireland, it benefits from the local microclimate.

Spanning more than 2,500 m², the distillery manages all stages of whiskey production. From mash to fermentation, from distillation to bottling, everything is done on site.

Three copper stills, custom-designed by master distiller Robert Cassell, give the whiskey its unique character. Their shapes and sizes differ from traditional Irish stills.
It takes advantage of the fresh, pure waters of the River Moy, which meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Atlantic Ocean, giving the whiskey a light saline and iodine note.

Nose: floral notes through sweet melon and vanilla.
