From the Glenburgie distillery, this 25-year-old single malt was distilled in 1996 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail at 55.6% in their "Connoisseurs Choice - Cask Strength" series. Matured in a refill bourbon cask (cask no. 5806), it offers a rich and complex aromatic profile. On the nose, aromas of vanilla, green apple, lime zest, and ripe tropical fruits such as pineapple, peach, and apricot, with a hint of ginger. The palate is smooth and creamy, with flavors of exotic fruits (pineapple, mango, peach, lime) balanced by a touch of black pepper. The finish is fruity with a subtle hint of fresh mint and oak.
