Emperor has established a new rum fabrication concept in its blendings. Emperor rums are the result of sugar cane juice mixed with molasses.
This new process reflects the story of Mauritius Island, that has first been under french domination (1714-1810), then english (1810-1968) and has finally gained its independence in 1968. Sugar cane represents the first agricultural ressource of the island with a perfect tropical climate. These rums want to gather cultures, flavours and tastes that the island has to offer.
