The Lambay distillery is located in Ireland on the Isle of Lambay opposite Dublin. This island was bought in 1904 by the Baring family who still own it today. Everything is done to preserve the island's ecosystem, and it is home to one of the largest colonies of seabirds in Ireland.
The distillery is in partnership with Maison Camus, born in 1863, the house produces quality cognacs and combines tradition with modernity. Lambay uses Cognac barrels that come directly from the Camus estate in France for the ageing of its whiskeys.
These barrels are then exposed to the island's sea winds, bringing a distinctive character to the whiskeys.
This whiskey is unfiltered and bottled at 43°, aged in Bourbon casks and then in Cognac and French oak casks. It is a Blend produced from the best Irish whiskeys.
