Teaninich 14 ans 2008 Signatory Vintage 70cl 59.5°
A distillery founded over 200 years ago, Teaninich is located in the north of Scotland next to
Dalmore. Very few official bottlings from this Highland distillery exist. The best-known official version is the Flora & Fauna in 10 years old on sale at the Comptoir Irlandais.
Most of the distillery's production is used for Diageo blends including Johnnie Walker. It has the specificity of using a machine to filter the must, which comes out exceptionally clear for a distillate with a herbaceous character.
Beautiful expression of this unique cask distilled in 2008 and aged in ex-bourbon barrels. Perfect osmosis between the powerful distillate balanced by this just toasted barrel. Very nice length in the mouth for a finish that explodes with rounded fruit.
Its price is also exceptional for this 14 year old Single Cask bottled in 235 bottles!
Non-chill filtered, cask strength, natural colour.
