Stroh 80 is an Austrian rum, produced with alcohol from the already made sugar of sugar canes, and reveals a very spicy taste.

It is the strongest in the Stroh range and is ideally used in the kitchen for making pastries, cocktails, punches or grogs.

Founded in 1832, the Austrian Stroh brand didn't have colonies in the tropics where the vast majority of rums are produced. The producers turned to the making of an "Inländer Rum": an alcohol whose name is protected by the European legislation, made from sugar and which is very close to the taste of more traditional rum.
