The famous Taiwanese whisky Omar is now called Yushan Signature, a tribute to Taiwan’s highest mountain, also known as the Jade Mountain.
This Blended Malt is made from 100% malted barley.
It is the result of an assemblage of aged malt in Bourbon barrels and still pot distillation of Scottish (forsyths) and Belgian copper. The Bourbon Cask reveals its authenticity without being colored or cold filtered.
Each tasting step brings out the sweet tip of vanilla. Cream and caramel come to support the sweetness of this Bourbon Cask.

Founded in 1978, the Nantou distillery is located in the mountains at 3,000 meters ofaltitude.
The water is drawn from the surrounding lakes and rivers. The subtropical climate is humid and warm and the winters dry, which offers an average temperature of nearly 20 °C allowing a faster ripening of the whiskey.
