Warrior is an imperial stout with real presence. Brewed with Scottish barley malt and oats for a velvety body, it then matures in casks that previously held peated Islay whisky. The outcome is a rich, dark beer where chocolate-like depth meets refined smokiness. At 15% ABV, it is designed for those who enjoy bold and memorable flavours, best appreciated slowly, like a digestif or alongside a hearty dish. Founded in 2016, Lough Gill Brewery has restored the lost tradition of brewing in the town of Sligo, in the north west of Ireland.
It is an independent, family-owned craft brewery located near the shores of Lough Gill on the Irish Wild Atlantic Way (Ireland’s coastal road that runs along the west coast of the country).
Their philosophy is to brew the best craft beers using the best ingredients and where possible add local ingredients to the brews.
