This edition of the Royal Brackla 13 years old is part of our INK #4 series selected by our experts and Signatory Vintage exclusively at Le Comptoir Irlandais.

Royal Brackla is a distillery built in 1812 by William Fraser on the grounds of Cawdor Castle in the Scottish Highlands. In 1833, the distillery was one of the 3 distilleries to receive royal approval on the order of William IV of the United Kingdom and then of Queen Victoria in 1838. The malts of the distillery are renowned for their sweet and herbaceous flavours, the result of a 72-hour fermentation.

This Single Malt was distilled in 2009 then aged for 13 years in first fill Bourbon barrels. It is a fresh, fruity, herbaceous, gourmet and round whisky. Reduced at 46°, non chill-filtered, natural colour.
