Glen Moray whiskies have been distilled on the shores of the Lossie River since 1897, just outside Elgin, one of Scotland's oldest towns.

In its long history, the award-winning Glen Moray has been distilled in respect of fashion, by hand. Never in a hurry or forced, always in balance, stable and careful, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. This consistency and dedication are really characterised by Glen Moray's staff.

Over the years, the Glen Moray distillery has built an exceptional portfolio of Speyside Single Malts with careful work on the marriage of oak and Single Malt.

The distillery is stocked with a wide and varied range of casks that allow whiskies to mature in styles such as port pipes, sherry butts and chardonnay casks.

Since the first drops of alcohol sank copper stills at Glen Moray, only five men have had the honor of holding the title of master distiller.

Colour: gold.

Nose: a warm nose with aromas of malt. Pastry (shortbread and caramel) at first with fresh notes of heather. Meringue notes in the background.

Palate: slightly spicy. A malty sweetness of toffee bursts under blackcurrant and lemony fragrances.

Finish: shortbread with floral notes and on ginger jam.

Category winner, Best Speyside Single Malt no age statement, World Whiskeys Awards 2023.
