Founded in 1821, Linkwood began producing whiskey from 1825. The distillery is located in Elgin in the Moray region of Speyside in Scotland. It took part in the development of many blends including the "Johnnie Walker" before being put to sleep between 1985 and 1990. It has only one official bottling to its credit (12 years Flora & Fauna) and a few versions. offered by independent bottlers including this beautiful bottling for the Irish counter!
This Single Malt was distilled in 2012 and aged for 9 years in first fill Bourbon barrels.
